Operation and Maintenance of Racking
- Refer to manufacturer's drawing and technical data for maximum safe working load.
- Do not alter the structure without either -
(a) Checking the effects against the manufacturer's technical data; or
(b) obtaining the necessary approval from manufacturer.
- Instruct operators on the correct usage of unit load handling equipment.
NOTE:Damage due to impact can seriously impair safety.
- Coduct regular inspections to check for -
(a) correct application and use;
(b) loads do not exceed safe working load; and
(c) damage due to impact.
